The Project
With a pioneer vision, the organization believed in the promising perspectives of the region and opened in 1985 the 5 Star Hotel, with 200 apartments and 10 meeting rooms. The main evidence of its success was the hotel’s extension in 1993, after 8 years of operation, having 400 apartments (389 apartments and 11 suites, being one of them the presidential suite). In 1996 it became the first Brazilian 5 Star Hotel to acquire the ISO 9001/2000, standards of excellence. Nowadays the Hotel Transamerica is certified with the norm ISO 9001/2000.
